Hey, I did my part! Instead of a repeat C-section with Caleb, I had a VBAC... not a very common thing. I might like to borrow your book someday.
Love this info. Glad you're getting the word out girl! heart heart heart :)
Thanks for sharing!!!
WOW. Great post. I love that you're so focused on birth info and the birthing process. I wish we had better birthing practices. How important is this knowledge??? More ppl need to reconsider how America delivers babies. Great post, Paige. This is what I like about you--sharing knowledge that can benefit the world (esp America). If I had a billion dollars, I'd give it to you so you could run some amazing campaigns to increase awareness.
While these statistics are impressive, and I can validly see your point, I do have to play devil's advocate. You can make statistics for any arguement you want. I could find a million opposing this view (but I won't, because that's not my point here). My sister and her baby almost died during childbirth, and had they used a midwife, they both would have. The only reason they are both with us today is because of our doctor... Those lives are worth more than any money a midwife would have saved them. It's cool that you are doing an unique birthing method, but it's definitely not for everyone :-) Good luck
