32 Weeks Pregnant

Wow... Time has flown by! I am 32 weeks along and the appointment today went great. I am measuring 35 weeks (my uterus is a little ahead of itself) and my blood pressure was good. No swelling. The baby's heart beat was fantastic. Grace is so cute when we go see the midwife. They let her put a stethescope in her ears and she listens to my tummy and when they push on my tummy to feel where the baby is she does the same. She is a little midwife in the making! She's so cute.

She always blows my mind. She is so smart and catches on so fast! She knows lots of her colors! Its taken a long time to teach her but she knows purple, red, pink, blue, green and black... Sometimes she gets yellow and orange but we are still working on those. She loves counting, although it usually goes like this... one, two, tee go! one, two, tee, go!...  I've discovered that she has an obsession with stickers. Ya, they are kind of a waste of money but it is worth the hour that it keeps her entertained. We'll go outside in the shade on the quilt and she will stick stickers on me, the blanket, the grass, her coloring book etc. SHE LOVES THEM. (of course she prefers the pink and purple ones...)

Bart is the same awesome Bart that he always is :) He got a new job within the company he already works for and is really excited about it! He started today! He used to be in sales and was on the phone ALL DAY. . . now  he is a purchaser. He will be working with vendors to purchase the ingredients for the products that Melaleuca makes. I think it will be a really good fit for him. He is super excited! He is training for a full marathon in Pocatello on Sept 4th... (Lets hope the baby doesn't decide to come that day!) He is working really hard!

I am just a big, huge pregnant lady that tries to keep up with a very busy 20 month old and all of the house work.  I actually feel pretty good... just hot and LARGE.  Poor Grace doesn't get to play outside during the heat of the day... We wait until evening or go out first thing in the morning. I haven't really felt uncomfortable until the last few days. Its really annoying to have a stomach that is the size of a marble when you are hungry all of the time and trying to feed two. I have been really sick with a sinus infection for the past 2 weeks. My midwifes gave me a few herbal things I could try and after about 4 days I started feeling much better! I thought I was pretty much over it.. and then BAM! the sinus infection came back with a vengeance! I felt so horrible... Finally Friday morning after crying for a few hours because my head hurt so bad I called the my midwife and she told me to go to the community care and see a doc. BLESS HIM! He gave me a shot of steroids that helped my sinus' stop swelling so bad and a Zpack. I am feeling MUCH better. whew!

We are doing well and looking forward to Lainey being here! I am getting a little anxious to be done but only 8 weeks left! Just keep swimming, just keep swimming...

I'll post pictures soon.

I would say that if you get an hours worth of entertainment out of stickers then they are most definitly NOT a waste of money :) Isn't it funny which things kids decide to absolutely love and which ones they don't.

Good luck on these last 8 weeks!
